British Legion Quiz Winners!
Last night we headed off for a quiz in aid of the Royal British Legion over at the Westminster Arms, where we took on teams of various Parliamentary hacks from across the political divide.By some freak of nature we actually won as well!
I would love to claim that this was down to my in depth knowledge of crap TV and music, but it really was more down to our human encyclopedia, Jeremy, who seemed to know everything about history and the military - and a lot more besides.
Shouldn't every team have a Jeremy?
Above from left to right we have: Jeremy, myself, Linsay, James, Kyle and Paddy. (All of us work for Labour MPs apart from one member who works for a Tory - we are so inclusive - and amazingly the Tory wasn't the guy called Jeremy!)
As you can see from the pic on the right, we then headed up to the new grassed area up at Trafalgar Square to celebrate with a little of our winnings.
Obviously we are champagne socialists. ;-)

Its so unfair. I have no oppurtunity to visit London whilst Trafalgar Square has the turf and you and your mates go there with a bottle of champers! :(
