Bob Russell Outburst

Many people have commented on Lib Dem MP Bob Russell's politically correct outburst and (mock) outrage at the Government about the use of the term "the black economy" - even though his own colleagues in the Lib Dems seem to use it as much as anyone else.

Now I'd never allege that the Lib Dems were well versed at mock outrage and were "sanctimonious twits" - but I am sure they could find a bar chart that argued the opposite if I did.

I do find it amusing that it's Bob Russell of all people who is complaining about the outrageous comments of others. He is no shrinking violet (as some newspaper articles this week seemed to intimate), as anyone that has crossed paths with Bob will testify, he is usually quite loud and outspoken when you meet him.

But if Bob is so offended, perhaps he would like to condemn the comments of this un-named football loving Lib Dem MP made the day after the Mark Oaten revelations.

(BTW Whilst looking around the internet researching this piece, I found proof that both Bob Russell and Ed Davey are tossers*. Thought you might seeing the photographic evidence.)
