Church - Dating Agency from Hell?

I remember reading something in one of the tackier papers around 6 months ago (I think it was either The Times or Telegraph) about how if you were a single guy then the place to pull was church.

Apparently it's a sure fire thing because there are so many young women and so few eligible young men.

In fact the only way you'd fail to pull is if you are a) ugly or b) a Labour candidate.

Unfortunately I seem to fall inbetween those two particular stalls.

You don't even have to be a Christian, or that nice. Which is just typical isn't it when those are two of your major selling points. Not saying that I am on the look-out for ladies right now, but having been dropped from a great height by my now ex-partner, I'm not ruling anything out.

Unfortunately the majority of churches I go to don't contain that many young women. And the ones that are there are already married with kids by the time they hit their 20s.

However it seems I am not the only person facing up to a time of drought in the dating agency from hell. Don't know how, but I happened across this rather amusing website called IamSparticus (I'm guessing as a tribute to the great film) - whose author is a bit like an alterego. Funny single Christian guy who went to one of the Oxbridge Polys. Sounds familiar, doesn't it.

I am all for giving people a chance so his website is my recommendation of the day. BTW Check out his theories. Barney is the Devil. :-)
